· When starting a game as the Byzantine Empire, you will enter a national crisis called 'Fate of the Phoenix.' This reflects the difficulties faced by the Byzantine Empire in the 14th century, placing it under pressure from surrounding powers. To resolve this crisis, a significant portion of lost territory must be reclaimed.
· New actions and events will occur during the crisis, and conquering specific regions will trigger events that aid in its revival. Defeating powerful enemies can unlock special national crisis actions.
· Upon overcoming the crisis, you will receive rewards and unique doctrines for claiming the Roman Empire's dominion. These doctrines apply only to the maximum territory of the Roman Empire but offer powerful effects such as -50% claim cost and -50% aggressive expansion. The conditions for forming the Roman Empire have also been eased, allowing for its creation simply by conquering the Italian region.

· Hellenism, previously an Easter egg element, has been expanded. It's a system for reviving worship of the ancient gods and seeking their favor through oracles. Every 10 to 20 years, you can perform rituals for six gods, and each god will provide a random bonus from one of ten possible oracles.
· Players can lean towards Roman or Latinized values, or convert to Hellenism by possessing all Hellenistic holy sites. Additionally, a new system called 'Movement' is introduced. This is a system that spreads organically from Pop groups, and in this DLC, it is implemented in two forms: Hellenistic religion and cultural movements. It is planned to be utilized for future religious reforms or colonial culture formation.
· Depending on player choices, the goal will be either a Latinized Roman Empire or preserving a Greek empire, and the enhanced religious content allows for experiencing historical religious events.
