· The first step to installing mods is visiting the Nexus Mods website.
· Nexus Mods is a platform that offers mods for various games.
· The mod we'll use as an example allows travel between planets via portals. With this mod, you can travel freely without needing inter-planetary travel machines.
· Mod installation proceeds in a total of 5 steps.

· Step 1: Check Mod Requirements
· Some mods may require installing portals on each planet.
· There are also cases where planet terraforming must be 100% complete.
· Step 2: Download Essential Files
· Click the links in the 'Description' or 'Requirements' section of the mod page to download the files.
· The downloaded files are usually compressed in .rar format, so you'll need to extract them.
· Place the extracted files into your Planet Crafter game folder.

· Step 3: Download Additional Files
· Go to the 'Files' tab on the mod page and download the additional files.
· You can choose between 'Manual Download' or 'Slow Download'.
· Step 4: Modify Configuration Files
· Navigate to the folder starting with 'B' among the downloaded files.
· Go into the 'config' folder within that folder and open the text file.
· Find the line 'hit manager game object' and modify 'fails for'. This process can be done safely.

· Step 5: Place Mod Files
· Go back to the folder starting with 'B' and open the 'plugins' folder.
· Place the mod files (.dll files) you previously downloaded and extracted into this folder.
· It is recommended to place them directly into the folder as extracted from the .rar file.

· Once mod installation is complete, you can observe changes within the game.
· A new icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen, displaying location information within the planet and the solar system.
· If you only have one terraformed planet, you can only travel to that planet.
· Your existing gameplay remains the same, and you can travel to other planets via portals.
· There might be a slight loading time when using portals for travel. This is because the mod is an unofficial modification of the game.
· You can confirm that you have successfully traveled to another planet.

· Nexus Mods offers a wide variety of mods, and you can freely choose and install the ones you want.
· Some mods are compatible with all game versions, while others require specific versions.
· When installing mods, you must always check the compatibility between your game version and the mod.
· Following the basic 4 steps allows for the installation of most mods.
· The key is to place the .dll files into the 'plugins' folder.
· The full-body character mod was applied successfully, but the drone speed increase mod did not work because it was incompatible with the game version.
