1. 🕷️ Araneo Spawn Locations and Taming Methods
· Araneos can currently be found on most major maps, including 'The Island', 'Scorched Earth', 'The Center', 'Ragnarok', 'Extinction', 'Aberration', 'Valguero', and 'Lost Colony'.
· On most maps, they primarily spawn inside caves. On Extinction, they also spawn in the wasteland, and on Aberration, near fertile regions.
· Taming is done through the standard method of knocking them out and feeding them. The most effective food items are spoiled meat, raw meat, or prime meat, rather than Kibble.
· The Araneo saddle is unlocked at level 40 and is inexpensive to craft, making it easily usable in the early game.

2. 🕸️ Araneo's Core Abilities: Tether, Web, and Climbing
· Tether Ability: You can switch between normal mode and tether mode (web mode) by pressing 'C' or by pressing the right mouse button and then 'C'. In web mode, firing a tether by right-clicking and then left-clicking will pull the target towards you or you towards the target, depending on the target's weight. This can be used in PvP to throw players or creatures.
· Web Shot: In web mode, firing webs at a target applies web stacks, gradually reducing their movement speed. Web attacks can also increase Torpor, potentially knocking out creatures. Targets affected by webs are slowed for up to 20 seconds, and the more web stacks they have, the harder it is to move. Hunting creatures affected by webs yields additional Silk.
· Climbing Ability: Entering climbing mode by pressing 'C' allows you to freely climb almost any terrain, including structures, cliffs, and cave walls. While climbing, an 'Ambush' buff is active, applying a critical hit and maximum web stacks to your next attack instantly.

3. 🚀 Araneo's Roles: Early Game, Cave Exploration, PvP Utility
· Early Game: Its web shot ability increases Torpor while simultaneously slowing targets, allowing for safer and easier taming of dangerous creatures. This is particularly useful for solo players.
· Cave Exploration: Using its climbing ability, web movement, wall-climbing, tether movement, and ambush attacks, you can easily navigate complex terrain and vertical sections within caves. It offers significantly better mobility than existing cave mounts.
· PvP: It provides various support abilities, such as slowing enemy movement, pulling or throwing targets, and even launching players like a turret, making it highly effective for sieges or defense. While not a primary combat creature, it can be a very annoying presence for cave defense, controlling chokepoints, or capturing enemies.

4. 🤔 Araneo TLC Update Evaluation: Underrated Powerhouse
· While the Araneo might initially seem like a simple spider creature, its actual abilities offer powerful mobility, excellent cave exploration capabilities, and significant PvP potential.
· With a low saddle unlock level, it has the potential to be a very useful utility creature in both the early and mid-game.
· For solo players or small tribes, the Araneo can be an extremely potent choice.
