· The mouse comes in a minimalist black box.
· Included: two receivers, charging cable, two sets of grip tapes (white dotglides and black regular glides), alcohol wipes, and an information card.
· The mouse was provided for review by the official WLMouse representative in Russia.

· The WLMouse Ying is available in carbon and magnesium versions. This review features the magnesium version in black.
· The magnesium body feels premium, pleasantly cools the hand, and creates a sense of monolithic solidity and durability.
· The mouse's shape resembles the Endgame Gear OP1, with a pronounced hump shifted backward, and a low, long front section.
· Symmetrical body, but due to the absence of side buttons on the right and a protrusion on the right button, the mouse is designed for right-handed users.
· The sides have a simple shape, with sufficient space for fingers.
· Low-set buttons with finger indentations, panels are almost horizontal.
· The body slightly widens towards the bottom, the base has an inverted bevel.
· The mouse is narrow at the front, making a 'claw' grip the most comfortable. A fingertip grip is possible but limited by the shifted hump. A palm grip is conditional due to the narrowness of the body.
· Recommended finger configuration: 1-2-2. A hybrid grip is possible, but there isn't enough width for 1-3-1.

· The Ying's shape offers excellent aiming and a sense of precision without discomfort, comparable to a 'surgical instrument' for gaming.
· The mouse's build is monolithic, with no creaks or looseness, even when the bottom is removed.
· The matte coating of the body is grippy and unaffected by hand or body temperature.
· Grip tapes are included for additional control if the standard coating is insufficient.

· The magnesium buttons are durable, do not allow for "misfires" or side travel.
· Button responsiveness is excellent. The software allows for bounce filter adjustment, enabling 0 ms latency for optical switches.
· If necessary, the filter can be increased to eliminate double-clicks.
· The side buttons also have a pleasant click, excellent fit, and actuation kinematics.

· The scroll wheel is standard, built on a TTC mechanical encoder with pleasant tactile feedback and quiet scrolling.
· The scroll wheel click is normal, not fatiguing.
· There are no additional buttons on the mouse, but their functions (DPI change, polling rate, LOD) are moved to the large receiver.
· The receiver has a clip for attaching to the mousepad and illumination.

· The mouse comes with four standard dotglides. Included are larger black PTFE glides.
· The absence of a ring around the sensor might affect stability during flicks on soft mousepads; applying additional dots is recommended.
· The mouse weighs just under 48g with a neutral balance.
· The 220 mAh battery, using the Nordic 52840 controller, provides moderate battery life, especially at high polling rates.
· At 2000 Hz, a balance between battery life and responsiveness is achieved.

· The PixArt 3950 sensor is used.
· The sensor's placement is optimal for right-handed users.
· DPI deviation is significant without additional dotglides but decreases when they are installed.
· Lift-off distance (LOD) is adjustable in three presets via the receiver or web driver.
· The software allows for binding customization, receiver lighting effects, and other parameters.
· Configuration via key combinations is possible but difficult to remember; the function can be disabled.
· Testing showed stability and responsiveness at frequencies up to 4000 Hz; at 8000 Hz, connection degradation was observed.

· The WLMouse Ying MG is the first magnesium mouse that I liked 100% due to its unibody construction without cutouts, strict design, excellent build quality, and tactile feel.
· The mouse's shape and size turned out to be comfortable, causing no discomfort even during prolonged use.
· The mouse receives a pass as an excellent product.
· The main drawback might be its high price compared to Chinese competitors.
