Mythical Island version 「Pikachu ex Deck」 Build and Strategy Guide (Galvantula, Dedenne, Electabuzz)
The Mythical Island Booster Pack release added new cards and created several variations of the Pikachu deck.
The core cards of the existing deck, Pikachu ex and Zapdos ex, remain the same.
You can bring something new to the table just by swapping out sub-pokémons.
1️⃣Pikachu ex + Galvantula Deck
· Replace the previously popular Zebstrika-based deck with Galvantula.
· Replace Pincurchin with Dedenne, which can be paralyzed with 1 energy.
· Allows for aggressive development using Galvantula without being able to draw Pikachu ex.
2️⃣Mythical Island version Pikachu ex + Raichu Deck
· Replace the regular Pikachu in the existing Pikachu ex + Raichu deck with Mythical Island version.
· Damage of regular Pikachu is slightly increased to a maximum of 30.
· Raichu is kept as the Genetic Apex version as its purpose is heavy damage in the late game.
3️⃣Pikachu ex + Electabuzz Deck
· Electabuzz in the Mythical Island version is stable as it has no recoil damage unlike the Genetic Apex version.
· Electabuzz, Dedenne, etc. Bench members composed of only basic Pokémon that do not need to evolve.
