Basically, the tutorial doesn't tell you about status conditions except for Poison.
You can find descriptions of special conditions (status ailments) in the game hints.

✅Special Condition Definitions

1️⃣Poison

· 10 damage to the poisoned target at the end of each turn

· Can use skills and retreat to the bench· Removes poison status upon retreat

· Can be applied in addition to other status ailments

· Koffing, Ariados, Tentacruel, and Nidoking have the Poison status ailment

2️⃣Sleep

· When afflicted with Sleep, flip a coin at the end of each turnRecover from Sleep if heads

· Cannot use skills or retreat
· Can be combined with Poison and Burn, but Sleep and Paralysis will apply the later used special condition

· Frosmoth, Vileplume, and Wigglytuff ex have a guaranteed Sleep status ailment

· Hypno has a 50% chance of inflicting the Sleep status ailment

3️⃣Paralysis

· Skip your turn once· Automatically recovers in the following turn

· Cannot use skills or retreat

· Can be combined with Poison and Burn, but Sleep and Paralysis will apply the later used special condition

· Joltik and Pincurchin have a 50% chance of inflicting the Paralysis status ailment

4️⃣Burn

· 20 damage to the burned target at the end of each turn

· Flip a coin at the end of each turn; recover from Burn if heads

· Can use skills and retreat· Removes Burn status upon retreat

· Currently, there are no Pokémon with the Burn effect, but it is listed in the game hints, so it is expected to appear in the future
